Serenity is a lil piggy. She’s eating her ’solid’ foods well. It takes her a min or two to get the taste of something before she’ll start really eating it. At first it’s just a fight to get it in her mouth-she spits the majority of it out  but after a few times of that down it goes. I’m working on uploading my few portfolio pictures onto photobucket so i can then link them onto the page. I’m so disappointed, when I was clearing out the original site archive, I deleted a HUGE amount of photos and then later realized I didn’t have those saved on the computer any mroe. Basically I lost more than half my collection of portfolio pictures! Waiting on the amended tax return so I can save more money-and of course pay off the credit card and have the car fixed. Frustrating-the car-nobody can figure out WHY it randomly just cuts of when we’re sitting at a stop sign/red light. Been doing this for over a year but nobody can figure it out! caught up w/ almost ALL the bills-cept for a few random not immediate ones, hospital, doctor, and old columbia house bill that i thought i’d paid.

ugh what to do

i’ve been wanting a particular tattoo-well just recently finalized my idea for that tattoo that ive wanted for 2 years. i recently learned about bank of america offering secured credit cards. this would be a great thing to get for improving jeffs credit so that we can get a home loan *HOPEFULLY* next year…well a better rate than i was quoted THIS year so now the problem. amended return will be mailed today and after paying off the current credit card for the trip back to st. louis to visit his family and make sure the car is running perfectly there wont be much $ left…maybe 600? i dunno really depends on the car. jeff wants me to get the tattoo, i want to get him the secured credit card for reasons stated…so he now wants to get the CC and then use it to get the tattoo. well the APR on cash advances is rather high and tattoo studios dont take CC-i dont think anyway never heard of that neway. I dont know what to do. I REALLY want the tattoo-for the girls-but it CAN wait and to me, getting better credit=house is more important than a tattoo. any advice??? anyone?

Jeff is getting his first paycheck today-whew though most of it WILL be going to bills only $100 or so left after that, orig amt being $600+ so yea. There is a problem w/ the money market account i set up for jeff-they wont talk to me though cause its in his name and i havent sent the papers back adding me as an authorized user so grr. try to sign in and it takes me to the auto financing area! Also havent yet gotten jeffs last unemployment check-ya know now that hes back to work and all, he was off for 3 weeks and we got 1 check so there is supposed to be that last week coming still, but the mail hasnt come yet. Lily picked out alice in wonderland this morning to watch-silly lily.

well-it works!

my OneCare program I bought finally has proven it’s worth. IT found a program I was downloading has trojans in it. I was really beginning to wonder if that program was a waste of money. I destroyed one of my new paintings yesterday-it was the obligatory dining room painting of grapes, wine glass, and cheese…turned out rather nice and I had the idea of making it look old so I soaked it in tea-nice idea it does work well. EXCEPT when you try to open the paper and lay it flat-tends to rip apart when wet. oh well I guess I’ll just have to re-do it now. I think I’m going to be getting some documentary/learning DVDs VERY soon. Jeff and I were arguing about lily’s learning-she seems to be advanced but I’ve been trying to do worksheets w/ her to help her learn letters, and numbers. she gets frustrated when forced to sit still and do them and it ends up not happening but she’ll learn QUICK when it’s on TV, so I think its a form of add or adhd either way she’s a visual learning so I’m going to have to accommodate that and start trying a different form. I’m downloading loads of classical muisic to play during our ‘art class’.  Jeff thinks I’m expecting to much from her but I tend to think it’s work so far-she’s move advanced than most other kids her age so its working. higher expectations, and you get higher results. teach sooner/earlier and it’s learned sooner/quicker. I do believe Columbia house had quite a few leap frog learning factory or something like that which she’ll like-letters and numbers is my main concern-CH does have a large selection of Imax documentaries too. they sent me a mailer to get 6 (instead of just 5) DVDs for .49cents but I threw it away-I wonder if I can email them and ask it to be resent or just for the code to do it online? I’ll do that now actually. don’t see why they wouldn’t. this time though it’ll be strictly order the required amount and CLOSE that account not keep ordering. it CAN save money but in our case it really didn’t-it amounted to the same once S&H was accounted for.

Return of the void-I’m missing my blue flip flops…only one though-I found one in the closet but the other has vanished-also a pair of dressy sandals had one foot missing. oddly it was the same foot as the blue flip flops! I have since found the dressy sandals missing foot but still no blue flip flop has shown up. back to work I go. (take lil breaks when I think of something to type).

I’m very excited about moving for many reasons-the most current one is a china set. My mom has an old cabinet, antique actually and a really great set of china w/ sterling silver around the edges-complete set including serving platter a boxed set of silver flatware. everything, I’ve loved it since I was little and said I would use it every day. she doesn’t use it however so I said I wanted it. she finally agreed once I move into our house then I can have it-so long as I don’t PAINT the cabinet. darn- but oh well its nice looking anyway.

Just finished sanitizing my kitchen. I have a bleach solution that i used, took everything off the counter and wiped down everything including the walls. Looks much nicer in there, maybe its just me since where i cleaned wasnt really visible. who knows, we’ll see if jeff notices when he gets home. there are a few things moved around so he *SHOULD* atleast see that change. Both girls are taking a nap so yay.

I stretched ONE of my nostrils up yesterday-accidentally went up 2 gauges instead of just 1. I had a plug but the grooves were too deep to put through a fresh stretch so I had to only upside the right side and put in a ring thats missing a ball-yea. I’ve really been in a mood to create art-and buy art supplies!-last night I used an old baby formula can to create a brush holder-glued bits of glass and mirror onto the outside and ‘ghetto grouted’ it using the hotglue gun and the painting over it. Looks….interesting. I opened a money market savings account in Jeffs name too-YAY, that is for moving. I’m making green pepper (flavor only) chicken and cheese tortellini

Entry part 2-april 23.

I never did get around to posting that-or finishing it the other day. busy around here-added to stress of trying and successfully getting all the animals back home again. I think i have to reteach lily that emmy (the cat) is NOT her toy and she cant roll on him! not much going on-thrilled still that jeff is back to work and excited for this first untaxed check-along with his last unemployment check from last week which should get here sometime at the end of this week. yea really keep up with that dont they, oh well it was helpfull so i cant complain-too much I found out my grandmother (dads side) broke her hip and is in the hospital. I feel bad for her but dont plan on visiting. I dont really associate with that side of the family anymore-nothing personal really they’re nice people just dont have anything in common with them and the feeling seems to be mutual. I dont agree with society’s idea that you have to love/care about ‘ biological family’. To me family is a person/group of people who have meaning for you, that make you feel special and loved not just some person who is related to you because so and so had sex and then these other two people did and ooh look you have somewhat similar dna. who cares. My ‘freaks’ in school were my family, not one was related to me but i felt more of a kinship with them than i did with people who are genetically related to me.  Jeff and lily are watching wrestling right now, squeaker is in bed, and i’m typing this before i also go to bed. OOOH I made great pizza for dinner, jeffs half was pinapple, moza chz and alfredo sauce. I had spinach, mushrooms, moza chz, minced onions and alfredo sauce. I’d ‘made’ the dough using the mix package but added in garlic powder, basil and oregano-it was the BEST one i’ve made so far which says a lot cause I make a pizza atleast once a month. Also ms. ren seems to be getting close to saying-something. she’s become very ‘mouthy’ lately. I recorded a 3min video on my phone so jeff could see it when he got home-wonder if i can get it to the computer using bluetooth. Have to try that at some point.

Jeff went back to work today-also got his FIRST unemployment check. 3 weeks today and just now getting a check for $233. He’ll be getting another one too, this all after he’s back to work but atleast I can catch up on the bill real quick. I’m not really sure what to do with myself today, usual clean up and put away but it’s odd not having him here. I downloaded a bunch of MS office templates for random things and some clipart. went to walmart last night and OOPS I ‘overdrew’ the checking account-not really cause whe we got home I just moved money from savings into checking, we had to have pullups and formula, among a few other necessary things like milk n’ such. Both kids are refusing to take a nap at the moment so commense the whining. I have so much to do, computer wise-i have to make more copies of the family video disc and then burn an archive copy for us and remove the multi GB files from the computer. make way for new ones i guess! I really wish i could get this thing to post to my other blogs-would be so much simpler.

I’m becoming more and more frustrated w/ the VT shooting coverage. They keep going on and on about the warning signs in his writing (among other things which i’m not at all discussing currently) yet it’s ok for the same if not more graphic and violent writing to come from stephen king, quentin tarantino, george a. rameres. I dont really understand how the topics someone writes about suddenly becomes a ‘warning sign’ AFTER a crime. Does that mean we should be expecting the above mentioned famous people to suddenly go crazy and kill people? The guy was mentally unstable that’s all it comes down too, every single person gives off some sort of warning sign-though these signs arent noticed until said person snaps and then it clicks and “oh yea-so that’s why so and so did/said that”. Also why do they keep going on about it at all-I’m not saying it shouldn’t be discussed, the people deserve they’re vigils and memorials and all that but the only topic you hear/see on the media is death and suffering. Once in awhile you’ll hear a passing mention of something positive thats happened in the world but it always goes right back to the suffering. Is it possible the entire worlds focus on the negative is partially responsible for so much depression in people? Is it possible the focus on these crimes brings out the same behavior from people who are prone to mental disorders? Such people are usually ignored and then look at the attention they get when they act out, everyone wants to know about them, everyone DOES know them-they dont get it in life but they do in death. This probably wouldn’t make sense to most people but I know some out there are going to understand where i’m coming from. If people who are unbalanced feel like they have nothing in this world and especially prone to suicide then they’re going to make a connection of getting the attention they want so bad, one way or another.

Sad day

Lilys fish died today-the black fantail mentioned yesterday. She didn’t seem to bothered by it, said bye and flushed the toilet-then told daddy he needed to go to the pet store and get her another one. I’ve been really sad today, not sure why really-most likely money related stress. Jeff is going back to work on thursday but thats still then and not now so its not helping. I’m very glad things are starting to get close on the money situation, and I’m getting very irritable w/ everyone so hopefully when he’s back to work i can get back onto my normal schedual. *Jeff just licked my head-I have a mohawk so its very odd* Manson has a new cd coming out june 5th-called ‘eat me, drink me’. I imagne there will be a lot of Alice in wonderland references in there. I had heard his last album, was it for him but surprise surprise here comes another one. The bit of a song i heard sounded good. Jeff has been painting on of the cage stands white, first coat done, has one more to do tonight. I gotta be off, house is coming on in 10 minutes. Hope everyone is doing well

April 16th

Downloaded the nero program-it works. sorta. I can use it and get the movies edited but burning-same problem. I was able to get it exported to a complete file and burn that onto a dvd-r but it’ll only play on the computer, dvd player just spits it back out when I tried that. Have to do for now I guess. atleast everyone can still get to see the videos just on their computer not in the living room like i’d intended. The wind has been blowing like crazy today, and tonight-very loud and strong. Both girls are in bed and jeff is watching wrestling. One of lily’s fish, her black fantail, has a large ulcer like sore on it’s side. I’ve taken him out of the tank and he’s got his own-orange tupperware ‘hospital’. I’ve been doing once a day peroxide applications on the wound. (odd to pick up a fish and use a q-tip to put peroxide on it). I almost killed it yesterday when I got the bright idea to put tea tree oil in the water. I’d read about a mela fix medicine online when I was researching what to do to help the fish and it had that oil in it, which I also had in the cabinet (handy stuff btw) I put to much in the water and when I checked on him after adding it to the water he was laying on teh bottom not moving. Suffocating I assume so i grabbed him out of the bowl and stuck it into a coffee cup o water and after a few minutes he was swimming around again. Oddly his behavior is perfectly fine so I assume the ulcer is a bacteria on his scales-thats the idea behind the peroxide. The area is looking better but that could change at any time. Disappointed that so few people visit my site which has so much work put into it. (it wouldn’t seem so but really it did take awhile). I for some reason cant get pictures to upload on to this blog either-I will be trying again so if there’re pictures on here i guess it works now. Nope didn’t work-again.

Drive

 Today we cleaned-as usual. Watched the new show on Fox-Drive. Its awsome, the next episode will be on tomorrow at 8 est. Mom stopped by and dropped off spongebob socks for the girls, Lily put hers on and then about 10min later they had to come right back off. She HATES wearing clothing of any sort when we’re at home. Also downloading a program called Nero-hopefully that will allow me to burn the family videos we’ve been recording w/ the camcorder we got. I’m not sure if this new program will work or not, atleast it’s a shot-I really want to have these videos sent out to family before long. Jeff fed the snakes today also, they’re all eating well, he did find one of the corn snake eggs that was not viable and disposed of it. I talked to customer support for the computer about the burning problem, got some advice which i’ve followed except for the trying out a different burning program which is the reason i’m downloading NERO. I also submitted the webpage to MANY serach engines. Not sure how long it’ll take for them to index it but that part has been done. After this program downloads my next download project is going to be collecting music from various famous composers-classical-for use in the homeschooling.
