Tonight Jeff completed BOTH of his final two tests for the electrical course he enrolled in just under 7 months ago. He got a 95 on both and we are still waiting on the results of his NEC project which had to be mailed into the school, not just taken online.
Had a bit of a crazy episode this evening. Jeff and I went to front royal to get a cabinet from Lowes and while gone my mom was watching the girls at our home. Apparently Lily needed new juice and rather than telling her to get one out of the closet-which is what I do as they’re kept on a shelf under my chopping block-mom went in and grabbed a bottle off the top shelf and poured some for Lily. When I got in and sat down at the table I took a drink, and immediately started coughing, gagging, puking, etc-you get the idea. Mom had grabbed my bottle of GREEN SOAP! I hadn’t labeled it so that was my mistake but I still cannot understand HOW she didn’t smell it as soon as she opened the bottle! Thankfully Lily only took a small drink and said it was yucky (I think she spit it out as her breath didn’t smell at all). She hasn’t yet shown any sort of reaction (neither have I incase you’re interested) and we both drank lots of milk and ‘good juicy’ and ate crackers. I’ve been keeping a close eye on her, asking how she’s feeling -she did say the juicy Grammy gave her made her tummy hurt, which disappeared quickly- and such. I don’t think there is really anything to worry about and I don’t feel the need to have her forced to swallow charcoal if taken to the ER for no reason.
KINDA, I’ve updated a tiny bit of the family page. It’s links have been fixed (if you find one please let me know!) and the pages have been semi-updated. Jeff’s still needs to be completely revamped. I also need to get updated pictures on everyone and hopefully my own portrait up on my page. Things are going well, waiting on the letter from Jeff’s WV test. Taking quite awhile but that is the time of the year. Xmas went nicely-Roy as expected disappeared after the girls opened their presents while visiting mom on xmas day. So sociable isn’t he. Finances are still afloat! Thankfully. Well it is getting kinda late so I’m off here. Hopefully I’ll be able to better upkeep the site and blogs related to it!
Kids are doing wonderful, actually today is serenity’s birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE GIRL! Jeff is doing awesome on his school-only 4 or so exams left before completion. In fact today he’s taking a test to get a license to work on WV jobs. This is more mandatory of the company he works for but hey I wish him much luck. I’ve gotten in contact with old friends from school-ones who actually turned out decent! Hoping all goes well with getting together soon.
