This is the new black edging. I know it’s not that impressive right now but there were plastic ‘bricks’ that had sunk into the ground here before and only went over to the little white statue. Soon I’ll be able to get some flowers to add in the bed. I did get QUITE A LOT of worms and a BIG night crawler-I’m going to estimate around 5″ long and the girth of a pencil. That’s big for a worm. They ended up in the compost bin, hope they’ll enjoy their huge buffet of biodegradable garbage-and help me in the process!

I painted the half bath downstairs last night. Color looks great..a bit of a problem keeping the paint where I wanted it-didn’t use painters tape. OOPS. I’m close to having that project finished, just need to order patches and the sink skirt and that’s all. Well The skirt will be more involved because I have to order the fabric and then sew.
Mom brought us stuff from lowes so we could organize the outbuilding. Jeff did that yesterday evening and it’s looking great now. Also able to make a few more rows with the cement blocks she brought here. I might get that done today, feeling a tad sick so I’m not sure.
I need to get a shower and go over to moms to get metal skewers for the jager steak and scallop kabobs that we’re going to cook on the grill and Jeff has to go over this evening and put stuff into her building. xmas stuff!
The wooden plank you see in the top left of the picture is/was the current ‘patio’ of the house. I’m using the cement blocks to create a new and more stable area. Only problem is…I ran out of blocks! These were the ones being used as a makeshift step on the other side of the porch. I’ll have to get more sometime in the near future. I bet jeff is going to get upset with me for doing this now instead of waiting until I had enough to finish the project. OOPS! I do like how it’s going to look, and on either side of the step I’m going to put plants of some sort. Unsure WHAT but something.
We have directv now. I took two broken and busted grills to zuckermans yesterday so we have a backyard now-instead of what started to look like a white trash trailer park FRONT yard. Lookin good, I need to get a patio instead of the current wooden planks and I also will need an umbrella for the table set thats out there. It needs a touch up of white rustoleum paint.
Its become necessary for us to dispose of our dvd cases. Our collection is moving into dvd BOOKS/cases. Each holds 320 discs so I think we’ll have to get ATLEAST one more (have 2 currently) possibly a 4th. What with the multiple disc tv shows, and the 2 disc dvd sets.
Not much else going on. I have a large project for tomorrow-kids room. Getting out clothing that doesn’t fit and picking toys that’ll be gotten rid of at the yard sale and then goodwill. Too much junk in that room for them.
